Colour Dash 2024

On Wednesday 26th June....the hottest day of the year so far....a large team of children from Benenden took part in the Colour Dash in Tonbridge.

The children ran varying distances, depending on age and came away with a large number of top ten finishes in groups of 50 plus children. The best bit was , obviously, being pelted with powder paint as they ran!

The children showed huge determination and resilience.

Special mention to Rowan for coming second in the KS1 Boys race, Caoilainn for a third place in the lower KS2 girls race, George and Bailey for a first and third in the lower KS2 boys race and Issy for coming third in the upper KS2 girls race.

Well done to Rupert, Arthur, Rowan, Jack, Leo T, Emi, Florence, Klara, Willow, Zara, Bailey, Murray, Felix, Oscar, George, Phoebe B, Caoilainn, Florenece L, Olivia H, Alacoque, Milo, Jake, Noah, Harry, Issy, Penny, Violet, Maya & Tabitha.

Many Thanks to Miss Maynard who supported the children and myself for the afternoon and also to the parents, uncles, aunties and grandparents who came along to support the children.
