Dulwich Athletics Festival 2023

On Friday 19th May a team of children from years 3,4 ,5 & 6 competed at an Athletics festival at Dulwich Prep school. Each child ran either a sprint, a middle distance or a long distance as well as a team relay. Four very kind children from year three joined the Goudhurst team for the day as their year three were at the seaside! A huge thank you to Olivia K, Poppy, Luca and Noah B for stepping up to help Goudhurst form a team.

All the children ran their hearts out and performed brilliantly, ending the afternoon in the Silver medal position - just 3 points behind the winning team from Frittenden.

A big thank you to Mrs Kirby and Miss Maynard for leading the Benenden team for the afternoon and for transporting them to and from the venue. Thanks also to the many parents who came along to offer support. 

Well done to Murray, Caoilainn, George Gray, Olivia H, Billy, Blake, Issy, Elsa, Jordan, Harry L, Tabitha, Zoe, Charlie, Dom, Toni and Amelia. A special mention to Toni in her 100m race where she left the rest of the field for dust
