Firecrests Supermarket Letters 9.5.24

Firecrests have been learning about environmental issues from their book Somebody Swallowed Stanley. They wrote letters to supermarkets to persuade them to use less plastic packaging so that the sea can be less polluted and the animals are not harmed. They were very worried about turtles easting carrier bags because they confuse them with jellyfish.

Their letters were posted to various supermarkets and we have had lots of lovely responses! They particularly liked their letter back from Tesco.

Here are some of their letters and the responses.
