Remembrance Sunday

This week the children have been remembering all the people who fought in the First and Second World Wars and in more recent wars and conflicts. As a mark of respect our Year 6's attended the memorial service in the village on Thursday 11th November at 11 am and Mrs Dignan was very pleased with their impeccable behaviour and thoughtful questioning. The rest of the school gathered outside on the playground and we were delighted that Miss Maynard played the 'Last Post' before we began our 2 minute silence. Well done everyone.
