UK Indoor Athletics Championships 2025

On Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd February I travelled to the Utilita Stadium in Birmingham to attend the UK Indoor Athletics Championships for 2025.

Here athletes were taking part in track and field events, competing for places in the GB team at the upcoming European Championships.

It was fantastic to watch established stars such as Laura Muir and Jeremiah Azu competing against new talent. I was most honoured to watch Asha Root, an ex Goudhurst pupil, competing in the 400m sprint. She could definately hear me screaming!

I also spent a lot of time spotting legends such as Linford Christie, Denise Lewis, Darren Campbell and Martyn Rooney, many noe coaches.
