School Day

Our school day starts when the bell rings at 08:45am and finishes at 3.20pm, making a compulsory weekly total of 32 hours 55 minutes.  Children are encouraged to arrive in school from 08:30am when our playground is supervised by our duty teacher.

Arriving before the bell goes allows children to play with their friends before learning starts promptly at 08:45am; there are many benefits for your child to arrive early as they are "ready to learn" when the bell goes.  

The individual timetable of lessons for each class can be viewed on the Class Pages, however all children come together for Collective Worship at 8.55-9.15am breaktime is at 10.45am.  Lunchtime is staggered with the younger children having lunch first from 12:10pm and older children at 12.25pm.  Afternoon lessons for all children begin again at 1:25pm and the school day finishes at 3:20pm.  Please see the timetable for your child's class for more information on how their day is organised.

The school facilitates a breakfast and afterschool care club.  The breakfast club runs from 7.30am-8.45am and the afterschool care clubs from 3.20pm-6pm.  Contact the school office for more information or
