On Wednesday 30th June, KS1 enjoyed their mini sports day! We took part in a sprint race, egg and spoon, hoop throw, nurf throw and a long distance run (optional). We had so much fun! Here is a little video to show you our acheivements!
We had a naughty toy box come to visit! He has been eating some of our toys! They have been really scared of him! Then one day he left us a poem! We have spent time looking at the poem and we have had a go at writing our own versions! We then wrote them up neat and made our very own naughty toy boxes to put them in!
We have been looking at toys from the Early 1900's! So we had a go at making a Jack in the Box! Have a little look:
We have been looking at Victorian toys - so we had a go at making our very own Thaumatropes!
This week we have been looking at all different food that is grown from the jungle! Today we tried some of the fruits that we can buy in this country!
Have a look at the graph which shows which fruits we liked!
We have been studying Dinosaurs during Term 3 and we have all made a fact sheet about a type of dinosaur! Have a look and you might learn about the different types of dinosaur! Have a little look at our fab book!
In Term 3, whilst at home, Cuckoo class were looking at dinosaurs so in Art we decided we would make some dinosaur puppets! We researched what string/marionette puppets are, we planned and designed our own dinosaur one, then we put together a prototype to check our design worked, we then made our puppets and evaluated them!
They are so awesome, here is a little video showing them off!
Cuckoo Class enjoyed a fabulous Dinosaur Day on the 5th February - have a look at some of the things we got up to!
Our first task was to turn ourselves into dinosaurs!
Cuckoo class have been learning about Dinosaurs and decided to research a question that they wanted to know the answer to. We have put them together in a video so you can learn too!
