Cuckoo Class enjoyed a fabulous Dinosaur Day on the 5th February - have a look at some of the things we got up to!
Our first task was to turn ourselves into dinosaurs!
Cuckoo class have been learning about Dinosaurs and decided to research a question that they wanted to know the answer to. We have put them together in a video so you can learn too!
Today, we baked traditional Nepali Gurung Bread to get a real taste of the Himalayas and traditional Sherpa foods.
If you'd like to create it again at home, the recipe is avaliable here:
We have been looking at all things maps! We have looked at what they are, what we use them for, how to use them and now we have made our very own! We made a BIG map of Benenden. We thought about what is around the village that we know of or which of us live in the village... and then we draw/made these things to go on our map!
The following week we went out and about around the village to see the places we had popped on our map and took pictures of anywhere we didn't know about.
Watch our for more progress as we go on our walk around the village to see if there is anything we miss!...
